AS I STAND HERE AND LOOK OUT AT ALL OF THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT ARE BEFORE ME. I AM REMINDED OF WHAT WALTER LOVED MOST OF ALL WHICH WAS TO BE AROUND ALL OF THE PEOPLE HERE. HE CAME HOME EVERY CHANCE HE COULD TO SEE ALL OF US. WALLY WOULD EVEN DRIVE ALL NIGHT TO GET HERE JUST TO SPEND A FEW HOURS WITH US. I’M SURE WE ALL HAVE THINGS THAT WE WILL REMEMBER ABOUT HIM, THAT WE HOLD DEAR. SOME MAKE YOU HAPPY, SOME MAKE YOU SAD, EVEN SOME, AT THE TIME WOULD JUST MAKES U MAD. THAT WAS JUST GATOR. HE WANTED TO GO INTO MILITARY AFTER 911 AND HE DID JUST THAT. HE FOUGHT AND DIED FOR THE LOVE OF THIS COUNTRY. NOT FOR THE WAR OR POLITICS, BUT FOR ALL OUR RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS THAT WE ARE ENJOYING SITTING HERE TODAY. I DO NOT HAVE TO LIST THEM ALL. GATOR LOVED TO HAVE THE LAST WORD. WELL HE GOT THE LAST ONE ON ME, I TRIED TO BE HIS HERO BUT INSTEAD I AM PROUD TO SAY HE IS MINE. WORDS CAN’T EXPRESS WHAT I FEEL AND HOW PROUD I AM OF HIM. Gator My Fallen Hero,
    Thank you so much for always being there for me no matter what the circumstances were. You were not only my cousin but my bestest friend in the whole wide world along with always being a big brother figure to me, and i couldn't of asked for a better person to have had in my life although your gone you will always be in my heart, and i will always remember you as my fallen hero because that is what you were to me you were my hero. you have me proud of the man you grew to be, i know you are with uncle tom now and he is telling you how proud he is of what you've done for our country. i will wake up every morning to thank you for what you've done, you died a hero gator and will always be remembered as one. i love & miss you so much and am constantly thinking about you. please watch over the family as i know you will. Rest In Peace
